Hitting by the financial crisis, people have a more tightening budget when spending for recliners. A lot of furnishing retailers have gone out of business and the whole sector is trending towards consolidation. The recession affected other developing countries just as hard as it hit the US. Importing from China has been decreasing dramatically and we have seen clearance sales and liquidation sales more often. I just bought my friend a recliner with ottoman from a local store for $120 including the tax. This is just the price i cannot resist.
Looking forwards, the sales of recliner probably will not see a spring till the end of this year.
