We have written a couple of recliners guide post in the last couple of days but we felt like we missed something out. Yes, we definitely should talk about the different types of materials used in recliners. The material used will be a determining factor in the quality of your recliner and by knowing a bit about the material, you will not overpay the recliner that is made by the cheap leather.
First of all, leather is a material created through the ganning of hides and skin of animal. There are three common leathers we see in the market today: full grain leather, polyester and Suede. Here is a quick comparison of the three types of leather
Full Grain Leather - it is made of the finest raw material and therefore it results in great durability
Polyster - One of the most widely used manufactured fibers. It is mostly used for apparel and home furnishings
Suede - It is usually made from the under side of the skin, primarily lamb, goat and pig. It is softer than full grain leather.
